• Observation of residents and make appropriate interventions.
• Complies with all pharmaceutical policies.
• Develops and communicates resident care plans.
• Complies with standards of professional documentaion.
• Communicates and manages the delivery of resident care.
• Treats residents and staff with respect and dignity, knows Resident Bill of Rights and
• Vulnerable Adult Policies.
• Adheres to good working habits.

• Is currently licensed as an LPN by the state of MN.
• Has the desire & ability to give primary care to geriatric, convalescent, chronically, seriously or terminally ill residents with respect, caring and understanding.
• Adheres to Federal/State regulations and guidelines including Resident's Rights.
• Able to recognize significant changes in the condition of residents and take necessary action.
• Must be able to display tact & good judgement in dealing with varying situations involving physicians, residents and their families and visitors as well as management & staff.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work well with others & maintain harmonious relationships with members of the professions & with his/her nursing colleagues.
• Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions, with or without reasonable accomodation, without posing a direct threat to other employees, residents or self.
