| Description: | Sholom Community Alliance, one of the leading senior housing and healthcare service organizations in the Twin Cities is seeking a COTA or OTR for a 179-bed skilled nursing facility located in St. Louis Park on a beautiful 17-acre campus.
This individual will provide direct & indirect Occupational Therapy services in compliance with AOTA guidelines, professional code of ethics and Sholom Comunity Alliance policies and procedures. The nature and scope of services provided must be in accordance with state and federal regulations. |
| Qualifications: | - Graduate of an accredited entry level occupational therapist assistant or occupational therapist program.
- State credentialing/licensure as required.
- Experience in LTC & membership in professional organization is preferred, but not required.
- Sound clinical judgement relating to the provision of OT services.
- Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary team in delivery of patient care to maximize functional outcomes.
- Knowledge of federal & state regulations & professional guidelines related to the delivery of OT services.
- Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with nursing, social services, residents, families, community members, volunteer and other facility staff.
- Meet all health requirements as required by law.
- Ablility to read, write, and speak and understand English.
